Love is the first solo Edyta Bartosiewicz album. However, she doesn't identify herself with the lyrical content as, in her own words, she considers it to be "too womanlike and pastel, and I'm not always like this". It's been recorded entirely in English and has reached gold status in Poland. Although released by Chrisalis for British market, it failed to make an impact on broader audience.
Edyta Bartosiewicz (born January 11, 1965 in Warsaw) is a Polish rock singer, composer, and songwriter. In Poland, she's known for her highly reflective and unusual lyrics. Sixteen of her singles reached the top of Polish Radio charts. Over the course of her musical career, she has received five Fryderyk Awards - the most important recognition in the Polish music industry.

Sen. Edyta Bartosiewicz.
Edyta Bartosiewicz started her stage career in the second half of the eighties performing with Staff and later on with Holloee Poloy. In 1992, the artist released her first solo album Love, on which she turned towards more reflective atmosphere. A magic mood of that debut album was the harbinger of a genuine revolution, which was supposed to come over the next few years of Bartosiewicz& stage activity. Her second album, Sen, brought out a huge dose of lyricism and expression – the album made a roaring success with 600 000 copies sold. The next album, Szok & Show proved herself.
