Is there a method in Akka (or in the standard library in Scala . 0) to convert a Future which might fail into a Future]? I know that you can write. orKlang: You could make the same argument against Option. Now your value has two ways of not existing: None and Some(null). But in practice it is understood that we don't ever create a Some(null) just like we wouldn't create a Future which could realistically fail (other than due to OOME or that kind of thing). Kim Stebel Jan 5 '13 at 16:38. tebel Future] is about as useful as Some(null)? Sounds about right – Viktor Klang Jan 5 '13 at 18:44. orKlang: Haha, very funny.

Myths of the Near Future is the Mercury Prize-winning debut album by English band Klaxons. It was released on 29 January 2007 through Polydor Records. Myths of the Near Future contains re-recorded versions of "Gravity's Rainbow", "Atlantis to Interzone" and "Four Horsemen of 2012", along with the singles "Magick", "Golden Skans" and, most recently, "It's Not Over Yet". It is named after Myths of the Near Future, a collection of short stories by British writer J. G. Ballard.

Future is certainly a prolific artist, though it is getting a bit excessive. Since 2011, he has released at least two projects every year, often three or more. His work ethic, long a point of personal pride, paid big dividends across an excellent mixtape trilogy (Monster, Beast Mode, and 56 Nights) in the run up to his commercial peak with Dirty Sprite 2 and his cash-in collaboration with Drake, What a Time to Be Alive. Since then, his music is either chasing those highs or stuck in cruise control. His new self-titled album is the first in a pair of projects released in a seven-day span. Perhaps for Future, prolificity is about excess, not just because it’s a flex, but because it always requires giving more of oneself-almost too much. Both nonstop motion and overindulgence are in his DNA. FUTURE, in many ways, unmasks Future: he’s a creature of habit.

Equipped with its own personality and particular sound, the Atlanta rapper's full-length endeavors paint a vivid image of different points of his career. Within the last two years, the Billboard cover star has pushed through to superstardom with five back-to-back chart topping albums - an absurd statistic in today’s musical landscape. He continues to build his strong catalog and establish his footing as one of hip-hop’s greatest talents today

Future (stylized on digital releases as FUTURE) is the eponymous fifth studio album by American rapper Future. It was released on February 17, 2017, by A1 Recordings, Freebandz and Epic Records.
