The Ataris full album "Anywhere But Here" released in 1997. The Orchard Music, INgrooves (от лица компании "Kung Fu Records"); CMRRA, AdRev Publishing, ASCAP" и другие авторские общества (2).
Anywhere But Here was a great debut album by The Ataris that shows their original roots and is very enjoyable. The Ataris would soon drift further from their punk roots into emo and indie territory, and their last album from 2007 was almost pop. I highly recommend this album. You will miss out on "Anderson" and the Weezer cover of "butterfly", but you could easily find those elsewhere.
Kris Rowe sings of young love gone amok over catchy, bouncy pop-punk in album that's more raw and pure than later recordings. Recording 20 tracks showed the Ataris weren't afraid to take chances, like covering the infectious "Boxcar" by vaunted Jawbreaker.
Anywhere but Here (stylized a. .Anywhere but here) is the first full release on Kung Fu Records by The Ataris. The album was released on April 29, 1997 and was characterized by a straightforward, upbeat, pop punk sound. The majority of the songs clock in at two minutes or less in length. On May 28, 2002, the album was re-released with an extra track ("Anderson"), a hidden track (an acoustic cover of Weezer's "Butterfly"), and some video footage. The track listing was also changed

The Ataris are an American rock band from Anderson, Indiana. Formed in 1996, they have released five studio albums, with So Long, Astoria certified gold. In 2009, an album was announced to be entitled The Graveyard of the Atlantic although the album's status has been on indefinite ambiguity, with just two EPs released in 2010 and 2012 both with the same titles as the awaited album. They are best known for their hit cover song, originally recorded by Don Henley, "The Boys of Summer".
