The Last is the fifth and final studio album by the Bachata group Aventura, released on June 9, 2009. In the "Intro" of this album, Anthony "Romeo" Santos states that this could possibly be their last album; his prediction came true in July 2011 when the group publicly confirmed it was breaking up for good. The Last became the top selling Latin album of 2009. The Last spent 23 weeks at number one in the Latin Billboard chart
There's a science to the coordinated flight of starlings, says anthropologist Barbara J. King. It's all about science. Just how do the starlings manage to fly in such an amazingly coordinated way? A few years ago, George F. Young and his colleagues investigated starlings' "remarkable ability to maintain cohesion as a group in highly uncertain environments and with limited, noisy information" - a nice description of what goes on in a murmuration. Going in, Young et al. already knew that starlings pay attention to a fixed number of their neighbors in the flock, regardless of flock density - seven, to be exact
Starlings is heavy and energetic at the same time. Some really nifty synth work by N’to bringing kind of salvation after the break and from that point it feels like a space trip into another world. To make your journey unforgettable we added a remix by Mister Henry Saiz - which is bringing more light without loosing the deepness of the track. The keys are perfected and a nice vocal keeps the theme open. On the B-Side you’ll find J’oublie - a brain-melting array of warm and huge sounds, a storyboard full of emotional and breath-taking moments. The song comes without rest

Elbow and the BBC Concert Orchestra performing Starlings. How dare the Premier ignore my invitations? He'll have to go So, too, the bunch he luncheons with It's second on my list of things to do. At the top Is stopping by Your place of work and acting like I haven't dreamed of you and I And marriage in an orange grove You are the only thing in any room you're ever in I'm stubborn, selfish and too old. I sat you down and told you how the truest love that's ever found was for oneself You pulled apart my theory With a weary and disinterested sigh. Saw Elbow live for the first time last year. Having grown up with this album, when they opened the gig with starlings and the trumpet fanfare came in, I cried.
Wanna Argue About the Beatles’ Last Album? ‘Abbey Road’ vs. ‘Let It Be’: Settling an age-old debate. The Beatles, 'Abbey Road' and 'Let It Be'. Courtesy of Apple Records. So what’s the final Beatles album? Abbey Road or Let It Be? If you’re a Beatles fan, you’ve had at least one chemically-assisted late-night argument about this (because that’s what we do). Abbey Road was the last they recorded, but Let It Be was the last they released.
