Jane Doe is the fourth studio album by American metalcore band Converge. It was released on September 4, 2001, via Equal Vision Records, it is the band's last release on the label. The album was produced by Matthew Ellard alongside Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou and the artwork was created by the band's singer Jacob Bannon. It the band's first album to feature bassist Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller, and the last to feature guitarist Aaron Dalbec; Converge's line-up has remained stable since.

But Jane Doe tweaked everything Converge had been doing to perfection, creating an album that was both heavier than their prior output as well as more smoothly constructed. It’s a solid from-front-to-back record that’s simultaneously a plea to the heart and an elbow to the chest. The band went from being a spunky, boisterous hardcore band to a mature, devastating noise collective over the course of one album.

Claiming he was a foster child native to New York selling magazines, the John Doe had given some his name, Robert Copland, with associated nicknames. However, investigators are unable to verify that it was his actual name. The boy wore a white shirt with a flag design, jeans and ankle-high socks. The Palm Beach County Jane Doe had an abnormality in her lower spine, which may have impacted the way she walked. She was around five feet one to five feet five inches and was approximately one hundred pounds. Men's shorts and a large boot were worn by the young woman.

This case contains graphic content that may not be suitable for all readers. Walker County Jane Doe was a teenager or young adult found murdered on November 1, 1980. She had been seen alive hours before her body was found and claimed she was from the nearby cities of Aransas Pass or Rockport. Some claimed to have seen the victim, who claimed she was a runaway from Aransas Pass or Rockport, Texas. The victim said she wanted to go to the Ellis Prison Farm to see a "friend.

The Cobra Event is a 1998 thriller novel by Richard Preston describing an attempted bioterrorism attack on the United States. The perpetrator of the attack has genetically engineered a virus, called "Cobra", that fuses the incurable and highly contagious common cold with one of the world's most virulent diseases, smallpox. The disease that results from the virus, called brainpox in the novel, has symptoms that mimic those of Lesch–Nyhan syndrome and the common cold.

I would comfortably describe the film as "macabre", a sadly rare tone in modern horror, and for the most part it feels more like a feature length Tales from the Crypt movie than the actual Crypt movies that were released.
