Trevor Pinnock and The English Concert (EC) have done it again; they have produced an album that captures the royal elegance and the stately presence to be found in Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks. The majestic presentation of the music as played by the EC can only be favorably compared to the music as played by Handel when it was first performed. The sound quality is excellent here, as is the brass and timpani productions as they appear in the Overture (first) track of this album
