Former Yes keyboardist Patrick Moraz has an interesting solo career. This album made at the late 70's it's a very experimental piece full of space athmospheres mixed with almost ethnic percussions. At this time, the album sounds like a piece of museum but if you put it on the year when was made, I think that Moraz's work was very avant garde and almost visionary.

Patrick Moraz, Electronics & Music Maker, Dec 1982. Future Memories represents a set of metamorphoses for keyboards, an inter-related series of pieces designed to display the possibilities of high musical technology and its relations to more traditional styles of music-making. Each of the three major pieces is an 'instant composition', an improvisation based on different musical ideas and using different musical forces. The overall concept is realised when the common factors become clear to the listener; "the album constitutes a whole, in terms of musical and technological progression. Originally the pieces represented a sort of musical history, with increasing complexity of instrumentation.

Moraz continued with his solo career and released his second album, Out in the Sun (1977) which he wanted to sound "completely different and more liberated". He then moved to Brazil for a year and a half and prepared material for his third album, Patrick Moraz (1978). During his time there, Moraz joined a Brazilian rock band, Vimana, with Lobão and Lulu Santos and Ritchie. He also recorded the keyboards in one of the most iconic songs of Brazilian music, called "Avohai", by Zé Ramalho. 1978–1991: The Moody Blues and solo projects. Future Memories Live on TV (1979). Moraz opens with the side-long keyboard suite "Metamorphoses," and it's technically impressive to the extent that Moraz alone is performing a multi-instrumental work, but too structurally repetitive and sonically gimmicky to hold up as music - its value is purely as a demonstration of the early days of sequencing technology. The second half of Future Memories saves the album from being entirely a completist-only release, though
