Charlie Rouse (April 6, 1924 – November 30, 1988) was an American hard bop tenor saxophonist and flautist. His career is marked by his collaboration with Thelonious Monk, which lasted for more than ten years. Rouse was born in Washington, DC in 1924. At first he worked with the clarinet, before turning to the saxophone.

Cinnamon Flower (aka Brazil) is a soul jazz music album recording by CHARLIE ROUSE released in 1977 on CD, LP/Vinyl and/or cassette. Reissued on CD in 1997 as "Brazil"(Douglas Music ‎– ADC11,France). Recorded at Sound Ideas (or Media Sound), New York City,1976. Thanks to snobb for the addition.
