Say it Out Loud is the second album from punk-rockers, The Interrupters & may be the most upbeat, fun sounding record of 2016. Released in June, it is the perfect soundtrack to the warmer months thanks to its bouncy, feel-good sound. Not to say it isn’t as infectious in the Winter, it just conjures up beaches & beer in the sun. So let’s get this out of the way, singer Aimee Allen has an scarily similar voice to Brody Dalle of The Distillers.

Say It Out Loud is undeniably fun and urgent in message. And backing their modernized 2-Tone-tinged, guitar-fueled, melody-heavy sound are lyrics that confront everything from social control and self-empowerment to domestic violence and the media circus surrounding the next presidential election.

Came out great and probably will say this is the most popular punk rock band at this time. Could be wrong, but do not know, since all the music places stopped playing music. From what I hear, this band is the one people are most hopeful for as to what they do next. I will tell you, more Tim Armstrong, as he is their mentor, friend, and role model. Hate all that superficial stuff. This to me is how music is supposed to be and does what music is supposed to do. A sample of say it Out Loud. By My Side - The Interrupters.

The group's self-titled LP arrived in August 2014. The Interrupters and Armstrong returned to the studio to record the band's second album, Say It Out Loud, which was released in June 2016.

The Interrupters formed after brothers Kevin, Justin, and Jesse Bivona were on tour with their old band the Telecasters, featuring singer-songwriter Aimee Allen as an opening act. Allen was performing sun-kissed acoustic rock, already several years (and genres) removed from a trip through the major label ringer at the start of the decade, which brought her numerous big-name collaborations but no album release to show for them. They’ve watched our band grow and given us as many opportunities as they can. Travis Barker let us record Say It Out Loud at his recording studio for free and put us on his festival, Musink. Rancid took us on our very first national tour. Green Day just took us around the world. I grew up learning to sing and play guitar because of Green Day.
