It was released in 2005 through Texas Cries Records, which is the band's own label. Pictures, videos, biodata, and files relating to The Bear (album) are also acceptable encyclopedic sources.
A squire he may be but, unlike fellow composer Randy Newman, Collins is in no danger of writing intelligent and engaging songs that go largely ignored by the masses, making his Brother Bear score a likely Oscar contender. That's not to say that middle-of-the-road pop confections like "On My Way" and future American Idol standards such as "Look Through My Eyes" are devoid of craftsmanship - they positively radiate Hollywood gloss - it's simply indicative of pop culture's voracious appetite for audio fast food.
After reluctantly disbanding in December 2006, Element Eighty have since reunited as of May 2007 and they have recently begun recording their 4th album, but according to their Myspace page the recording has been extremely slowed down due to personal issues. They have since announced the end of Element Eighty, Ryan Carroll is now playing with the Dallas-based band AdaKaiN, which included Matt Woods for a brief stint.
