Episode II has Galactic Empire venturing past the original trilogy and into the sequels. Force-push your way into the pit with Scherzo for X Wings, which appears originally in The Force Awakens. While our debut allowed us to bring a new perspective to much-loved anthems, our latest technological terror is a darker, heavier, and far more epic testament to the true power of the Dark Side of the Force, said Galactic Empire. We are confident that any rebel strongholds that remain after the last cycle will soon bow before the Empire. There will be no one to stop us this time.

If you thought having only one Star Wars-themed metal album in the universe was enough, well, think again. Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and the rest of the Galactic Empire are back for round two, and it’s just what you would expect from them. While the concept of playing beloved Star Wars music with guitars seems enticing enough, after two or three tracks, it does become a bit tiresome. Yet when paired with music videos such as March of the Resistance, the songs do begin to take on a life of their own. Like their first effort, this won’t appeal to everyone.

Latest album Episode II is basically just progressive metal iced over some Star Wars themes. That's about as blunt a description of the album as I can give, but at least it's fun and inviting at the same time. March of the Resistance", "Scherzo for X Wings" and "Into the Trap" seem silly at first, yes, but eventually open up into a nerdgasmic flurry of adventurous riff work and some squeaky clean solo work which, depending on your taste in metal, will be a horrible or satisfying experience.
