Микс – Yes - Yesyears - Part 5YouTube.

Yes is a progressive rock band from London, England. They were formed in 1968.

Yesyears is the first box set by English progressive rock band Yes, released in August 1991 on Atco Records. After the group left Atco for Arista Records when they became an eight-man formation in 1990, the deal gave Atco the right to the band's back catalogue, thus allowing them to release a career-spanning box set. Yesyears contains studio and live tracks from 1969 to 1991 with previously unreleased mixes and songs, digitally remastered by Joe Gastwirt.

However, when you consider the amount of material in Yes' catalog by the point of this release, such arguments are somewhat silly. There is no way that all the songs everyone wanted included could be here. The disc includes a nice balance of original release material and alternate takes, unreleased songs, etc. Of course, for the die-hard Yes fans, probably the main audience for this box set, the rarities are the true selling point of the compilation. There are some very interesting ones represented here.

From "The Yes Album" I can't understand why they left out "Perpetual Change" and include "I've Seen All Good People". The Fish" does not belong either to their best repertoire (IMO) but since Chris choose the tracklist. Disc two covers one of their more interesting period (partially from "Fragile" to "Relayer").

Not to be confused with The Yes Album, the band's third studio album. Yes is the first studio album from the English rock band Yes, released on 25 July 1969 by Atlantic Records. Sweetness" and "Looking Around" were released as singles which also failed to chart. Yes was remastered in 1994 and 2003; the latter remaster contains several previously unreleased tracks including a rendition of "Something's Coming" from West Side Story.

Yes are an English rock band who achieved success with their progressive, art and symphonic style of music. They are distinguished by their use of mystical and cosmic lyrics, live stage sets and lengthy compositions, often with complex instrumental and vocal arrangements. Seventeen musicians have . ore .
