Angels Egg is the fourth studio album by the progressive rock band Gong, released on Virgin Records in December 1973. It was recorded using the Manor Mobile studio at Gong's communal home, Pavillon du Hay, Voisines, France, and mixed at The Manor, Oxfordshire, England. The album was produced by "Gong under the direction of Giorgio Gomelsky"
A deliciously demented, obscure and exoteric look into the one-of-a-kind musical universe created by the legendary Daevid Allen. His twisted and highly creative take on progressive-rock, avant-garde, folk and jazz had already proved itself to be really powerful on Gong's previous works, but it was on the amazing Flying Teapot that Allen and his collective reached their creative peak. Words are often useless to describe this otherwordly experience.
