Tweekend Advance ‎(CD, Album, Promo). it's an excellent followup but vegas is still their crowning achievement. the method infused rock in tweekend, which was great, but vegas simply had too many classic tracks. nonetheless, tweekend is a great album on its own. Reply Notify me Helpful.

The Crystal Method spent three long years proving their devotion to the dance underground, and in the meantime separated themselves from the 1997 big beat bonanza that pigeonholed their debut full-length, Vegas.

The Crystal Method is an American electronic music act formed in Las Vegas, Nevada by Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland in the early 1990s. Like Jym and others, they were pioneers of the big beat genre. The Crystal Method's music has appeared in numerous TV shows, films, video games, and advertisements. Their debut studio album Vegas was certified platinum in 2007, and saw follow-ups Tweekend, Legion of Boom, Divided by Night, and The Crystal Method

Tweekend is the second album by The Crystal Method, it was released in 2001 by Geffen Records. not 2011 as listed above). The track "Name of the Game' came out as the lead (hit) single for this album. Later also "Murder (You Know It's Hard)" and "Wild, Sweet and Cool" came out on single. Their songs have been used in a variety of commercials and games.

Tweekend is an amazing album by the Crystal Method - my favourite of their catalog. However, this vinyl seemed to be a bootleg (which would make sense considering the low price). The sound quality is absolutely terrible, with a lot of the depth of the music seemingly missing.

The Crystal Method, along with other bands, helped revolutionize the electronica music to turn it into what it is today. Here’s is what is good to show you why Tweekend is a very good album and what was bad to show what could be improved. The good stuff: - The beats, I have to mention that. Of course this makes the whole album but like common, they are amazing!

Tweekend" drops so hard that you should wear a helmet…or at least headphones. Guest artists include Beck's DJ Swamp, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, and Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello.
