This great album reeks of late 1980’s alternative and is peppered with darkly danceable numbers like Cry Little Sister. This disc has been in and out of my collection, first on vinyl and then on cassette, but it was lost to the motor of the machine a long time ago and it has been many years since my ears have feasted on the twilight keyboard rushes and the sultry baritone saxophone arcs. So I’m psyched to have this on CD and hopefully will keep it well within my collection henceforth. When I saw this movie way back when, I was immediately drawn to the INXS song "Gonna Have A Good Time", plus their theme song, "People Are Strange". Being an uneducated school girl of 14, I had no idea that bands actually sang cover songs. I didn't even know what "cover songs" were.
