Desire is the fourth studio album by English synth-pop duo Hurts. It was released on 29 September 2017 by Columbia Records. The album's lead single "Beautiful Ones" was released on 21 April 2017. It was followed by the second single "Ready to Go", which was released on 1 September 2017, and "Chaperone", which was released on 12 October 2017 as the third single.

The Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft explored Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune before starting their journey toward interstellar space. Dave Wallce smashes it with a thundering roller with bags of funk groove, deep atmosphere and sparkling keys. Dancefloor destruction but headphone heaven at the same time. Sublime stuff.

Dalarin

DESIRE is probably the strongest track of Voyager's FUTURE RETRO, and here, it gets its mixes. Though the instrumental version doesn't necessarily add anything (or, for that matter, take anything away), Dave Wallace strips down the track and instead introduces some throbbing pad to accompany the subdued breaks, bringing in an almost shoegaze-type of romance to the track. The "Wishful Thinking Mix" (available on the album) turns the track into smoky jazz trip-hop number. Quite nice in any form.
