Beautiful Swimmers's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.

Beautiful Swimmers have revealed details of their debut album, Son, due out July 2nd. The DC-based pairing of Andrew Field-Pickering and Ari Goldman have recorded together since 2008. In that time they've put out a string of original records and remixes that combine elements of house, boogie, dub and disco. Field-Pickering has also carved a sideline as Maxmillion Dunbar, releasing an album of kaleidoscopic house called House Of Woo earlier this year. The album features a couple of previously released tracks-2009's "Swimmers Groove" and 2010's "Big Coast"-alongside a clutch of new songs which the duo say broaden the Swimmers' musical palette.

Beautiful Swimmers - Son Since its inception in 2008, Andrew Field-Pickering's Future Times label has been one of the most idiosyncratic outposts of electronic music in the US. A big part of its musical identity has been the work of Field-Pickering himself, whether solo as Maxmillion Dunbar or with his partner Ari Goldman as Beautiful Swimmers.

The Beautiful Swimmers are Ari Goldman and Andrew Field-Pickering (AKA Max D). And you, my friend, are about to get high on the happy. They’re here to take you on a gleeful joyride around their collective musical imagination. The Swimmers are full bore record enthusiasts you see, but whereas you might associate this with squirrelly, exclusive and crabby sorts, they are inclusive, human and warm.

Beautiful Swimmers, DC’s own waterproof producer deejays! The Swimmers balance classic dance tracks, known and unknown, with raw exclusives from under the underground.

Maxmillion Dunbar& House Of Woo is out now on RVNG ITNL. Andrew also has a 12 out as Dolo Percussion on . Mix 490, Ghost Vision.
