Kiss is the debut studio album by American rock band Kiss, released on February 8, 1974. Much of the material on the album was written by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, as members of their pre-Kiss band Wicked Lester. Simmons estimated that the entire process of recording and mixing took three weeks, while co-producer Richie Wise has stated it took just 13 days.

A second live album, Alive II, was released on October 14, 1977. All three albums were certified platinum soon after their release. A 1977 Gallup poll named Kiss the most popular band in America. The first Kiss compilation album, Double Platinum, was issued on April 2, 1978. This double album included many remixed versions of their hits, as well as "Strutter '78", a re-recorded version of a song from the group's first album  . By the end of the Dynasty tour in December 1979, tensions between Criss and the rest of the band were at an all-time high.

About Me & My Gun. pictured is eric harris and dylan klebold in the yearbook photo. Those were the two shooters who shot up columbine highschool in 1999. Funny though the Heckler & Koch from H&K Mp5, H&K can stand for Harris and Klebold. See: Video on Youtube KMFDM Interview - October 19th, 2009 - COMA Music Magazine Time 02:26. One of the best things about getting your portrait painted has got to be the fact that you can portrayed as "ripped" as you want for all of time. Let's face it, other than Paul Stanley, none of the members of Kiss were ever quite as buff as they were immortalized here by designer Dennis Woloch and painter Ken Kelly. Dressed to Kill' (1975). The Demon, Cat, Spaceman and Starchild try, and fail gloriously, at fitting into corporate America on this, one of the best Kiss album covers ever. This Bob Gruen photograph required the band (except for Peter Criss) to all borrow suits from manager Bill Aucoin. It is nearly impossible to attend a Kiss concert nowadays without finding at least one foursome of friends decked out in thrift-store suits and greasepaint, which in our opinion is one more reason why this country is so great. 5. 'Lick it Up' (1983).

It's eclectic, to be sure, but it's also a mess, bouncing from idea to idea and refusing to develop some of the most intriguing detours
