Oh, it’s real, but the fun part and the cool part about Guns N’ Roses is we don’t really talk about it, and what happens next just happens, McKagan said of the new album (via Ultimate Classic Rock). It’s never been that band that there’s a direct schedule of how we do things. While Guns N’ Roses’ reunion tour did not feature the debut of any fresh tracks, the first new Axl Rose song in 10 years recently appeared in an episode of New Looney Tunes. In This Article: Duff McKagan, Guns N' Roses.

Inside the Guns N’ Roses Reunion and His New Album. The guitarist gives his first extensive interview on reuniting with GNR and explains why he’s not quitting his solo career. What were your first conversations with Axl like? Yeah, I know everybody wants to ask me stuff like that, but in the Guns N’ Roses world, I’ve found that. I’d just rather not even get into it. Because at this point, it’s like, Guns N’ Roses is, and that’s basically all that really needs to be said. I don’t like to get into the dynamics of how. cause it always gets misconstrued. And the superficial stuff that people want to look into, it always seems to rise to the surface; and it’s hard to get away from that after years and years and years of being that band that had, uh, that kind.

There hasn’t been a new Guns N’ Roses album of any sort since 2008’s Chinese Democracy, and the last time that Axl created original music with Slash and Duff was 1991 when the two Use Your Illusion albums landed. The three core members of the band did put aside their differences in 2016 for the highly lucrative Not In This Lifetime tour. The band was great, the fucking entourage, the crew, the whole production was just like this really great marriage of people, and we just all had a really good time, said Slash. And the fans were amazing. So I’m really happy that it happened.

Guest appearances include The Fugees, KRS-One, Nine, Brother J of X-Clan and Junior Reid.

World Tour To Follow New Album? Guns N' Roses are rumoured to be planning a worldwide tour at the end of 2020. When contacted, a representative had no information on a new album, or any of the rock band’s future plans. This isn’t the first time in recent memory reports have surfaced about Guns N' Roses recording sessions.

The title of the record is an offhand sarcastic remark about the state of the world at the moment. In light of everything that's going on, you couldn't help but say something. The first thing guns n' roses DID after reforming in 2016 was perform at the troubadour in west hollywood, where a lot of your earliest shows happened. It wasn't even the gig so much as showing up for soundcheck and being in this venue that we got our start in. I have a history going back there to when I first moved to Los Angeles - 6 or 7 years old and going with my parents to see Linda Ronstadt.
