Опубликовано: 22 янв. 2013 г. Gary Numan, We Are Glass (Extended Mix), Not originally on the old Vinyl album Telekon. Was the single that preceded the album in 1980. No the number 1 groundbreaking track the either Cars or Are Friends Electric? were. However, still a stunning track. Enjoy it here extended like it should have been back in it's day. Enjoy.

We Are Glass" is a song by the British singer Gary Numan. It was released as a single in May 1980 and reached number five on the UK Singles Chart. The song was Numan’s first release since his 1979 album, The Pleasure Principle, which had been notable in part for its complete absence of guitars. Though the album was a major commercial success, Numan decided that "getting rid of guitars had been a mistake" and brought them back into the studio for his next project.

The album cover shows Numan as a Machman staring out from his room at a waning crescent moon hovering above "The Park" as a barely visible man stands outside while Numan's reflection stares back at himself. Musically, Numan’s main influence was the commercially unsuccessful John Foxx-led incarnation of Ultravox  . To coincide with Numan's 15-date Replicas Classic Album Tour in 2008, Beggars Banquet issued an expanded 2CD and limited 3CD version of Replicas, titled Replicas Redux. Disc One. "We Are So Fragile" - 2:55. Do You Need the Service?" - 3:39.

Gary Numan experienced renewed interest during the late '90s due to a popular remake of "Cars" by electro metallists Fear Factory. As a result, Numan reappeared back from the dead - releasing new albums, launching tours, and winning over new fans. The time was right to issue a brand new Numan compilation (despite the fact that countless career overviews had surfaced throughout the years), as the 29-track double disc Exposure: The Best of Gary Numan 1977-2002 appeared in shops in 2002.
