GAVIN FRIDAY AND THE MAN SEEZER - Each Man Kills The Thing He Loves.

Album · 1989 · 14 Songs. Death Is Not the End. 6:04. 8. He Got What He Wanted. 9. Man of Misfortune.

Each Man Kills the Thing He Loves is the debut album from Gavin Friday following his exit from the Virgin Prunes. It was released in 1989 and is also his first collaboration with Maurice "The Man" Seezer. The title track is an excerpt from Oscar Wilde's The Ballad of Reading Gaol set to original music. This album also features covers of Bob Dylan's "Death is not the End" and Jacques Brel's "Next" (in French : "Au Suivant").

Yet each man kills the thing he loves, By each let this be heard, Some do it with a bitter look, Some with a flattering word, The coward does it with a kiss, The brave man with a sword! Some kill their love when they are young, And some when they are old; Some strangle with the hands of Lust, Some with the hands of Gold: The kindest use a knife, because The dead so soon grow cold.

All the song lyrics for Gavin Friday & Maurice Seezer‘s album ‘Each Man Kills The Thing He Loves‘. Each man kills the thing he loves. Each man kills the thing he loves, by each let this be heard. Some do it with a bitter look, some with a flattering word. The coward does it with a kiss, the brave man with a sword. Some kill their love when they are young, some when they are old. Some strangle with the hands of lust, some with the hands of gold. He is afraid to be alone, he is alone. He wants to touch the feeling of her loneliness, to watch her cry is to watch him die. The heart it was the main thing to see and believe, it will do you no harm to call and try for love, for love, for love. He placed a piece of velvet upon the shame, the ultimate cover up the hidden lie. To die with ones mouth full of ashes, ooh, it will do you no harm to call and try for love, for love, for love. Tattle tell, tattle tell, tell tale heart.

Some do it with a bitter look, some with a flattering word. The kindest use a knife because, the dead so soon grow cold. Some do the deed with so many tears, and some without a sigh. For each man kills the thing he loves, yet each man does not die. Прочитать перевод текста. Топ 20 Gavin Friday And The Man Seezer. 1. Gavin Friday And The Man.

Each Man Kills shows a slightly calmer Friday at play, making the same transition to Scott Walker-inspired dark, spiked cabaret that kindred spirits Nick Cave and Marc Almond also did in their own solo careers to one extent or another.
