Let's give Suzy a call. Hello, Mrs Pig. May Peppa talk with Suzy, please? Hello, Suzy? Hello, Peppa! We can be friends again if you say sorry. I'm sorry I said you cheated, even though you did cheat. I can easily find a new best friend. It is a lovely sunny day. All the children are at the playground. Danny Dog is on the round about with his best friend Pedro Pony. George is on the seesaw with his best friend Rebecca Rabbit.

Bing Crosby first released his version on the 1945 album Merry Christmas and then in subsequent re-releases. We Wish You a Metal Xmas and a Headbanging New Year includes a metal version sang by Ronnie James Dio, with the arrangement and guitar solo by Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi. A Christmas episode of the BBC TV series All Creatures Great and Small was titled "Merry Gentlemen", in ironic reference to Siegfried's urging his colleagues to sing the song correctly, with a pause between "merry" and "gentlemen". In the episode "Molokai" of Radio 4's sitcom Cabin Pressure, Arthur sings the first line as "get dressed you merry gentleman".

This Say Hello song is one of my all time favourites as you can adapt the actions to suit any age from babies up to five year olds and it gets everyone joining in together with the clapping and the stamping. Children respond really well to routine and this familiar easy chant becomes a firm favourite that signals the time for the group to come together and listen to the teacher and take part together as a whole. Cats are intelligent creatures. They observe which vocal sounds get which results. So when your kitty said something that sounded like hello for the first time, you were probably startled, and responded. Your clever cat noted the result this sound brought, and used it again. Each time s/he did, you paid attention. So your kitty concluded that the hello sound got your attention. And naturally, when s/he wants your attention, s/he now says hello.
