I Love Bill Evans (Jazz Masters collection).

Portrait in Jazz is an album by American jazz pianist Bill Evans, released in 1960. Eight months after his successful collaboration with Miles Davis on the album Kind of Blue, Evans recorded Portrait in Jazz with a new group (the Bill Evans Trio) that helped change the direction of modern jazz.

Affection/Fondness Imagination Introspection Rainy Day Sunday Afternoon. Bill Evans, Bill Evans Trio. The first of two studio albums by the Bill Evans-Scott LaFaro-Paul Motian trio (both of which preceded their famous engagement at the Village Vanguard), this Portrait in Jazz reissue contains some wondrous interplay, particularly between pianist Evans and bassist LaFaro, on the two versions of "Autumn Leaves. Other than introducing Evans' "Peri's Scope," the music is comprised of standards, but the influential interpretations were far from routine or predictable at the time.

Thankfully, I can have both. In Portrait in Jazz, Bill & the boys create something new while leaving some of the familiar and it works beautifully.

Yes it's 33 1/3 rpm. Same mastering as the 45 rpm but cut for 33 1/3 rpm.
Is this on a single 33 1/3 rpm disc? I have this on a 2xLP @ 45rpm set which I can't find listed on discogs and I'm wondering if that's what this page is supposed to be for?
This pressing is on a single 33 1/3 LP. The 45 RPM version, I believe, is listed under 2004.
