Ever! is a compilation album brand from Circa Records (trading under the 'strategic marketing' brand name of EMI/Virgin Records). Ever! et., however on a number of indie music collections the genre aspect was replaced by a full list of artist names.

This is a LONG album, but there are few, if any, wasted moments. The albums features some of the best instrumentals Pac ever got to work with and lyrically it’s 2Pac at his harsh, yet emotional and poetic best. The last masterpiece of a young tormented genius who sadly ‘thugged’ his way to his own demise. Top tracks: To Live And Die In . Me And My Girlfriend Hail Mary Hold Ya Head.

Why 1996 Was the Best Musical Year of the '90s. 10/9/2014 by Joe Lynch. When critics go about naming the best albums of the '90s, the top choice is almost never a record from 1996. It is not the year of The Chronic, OK Computer or Loveless. But unlike most years in the '90s, 1996 boasted a diverse slew of trailblazing albums that actually span a range of emotions, genres and regions. Eighteen years later, we can rightfully call them classics. While Weezer released their immortal ode to angst, Pinkerton, Beck made his Beck-iest album, Odelay. Aphex Twin revealed his face with The Richard D. James Album. Parents clucked their tongues in fear as kids rocked to Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar, Rage Against the Machine's Evil Empire and Sublime's self-titled album. It turned out the kids were alright.

Wow! I wouldn't dispute this album title, if considered together with volume 2. This double disc contains a lot of the most commercially successful tracks from the disco era and plenty of classics. Appropriately it kicks off with Donna Summer's eurodisco classic I Feel Love. Other hits from this genre include Funkytown, Get Up And Boogie, Black Is Black and Silver Convention's Get Up And Boogie.
