Save the Last Dance for Me" is a song written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, first recorded in 1960 by the Drifters, with Ben E. King on lead vocals. In a 1990 interview, songwriter Doc Pomus tells the story of the song being recorded by the Drifters and originally designated as the B-side of the record.

Save the Last Dance for Me was Ben E. King's 15th album and 14th studio album. It was released under the EMI-Manhattan label. The album was released in 1987 and was King's first release in six years. All the tracks are new recordings of hits by King's old group The Drifters, originally recorded between 1959 and 1964. Note that King did not originally sing lead on all the Drifters versions of these songs, having left the Drifters in 1960.

After Forever was a Dutch symphonic metal band with strong progressive metal influences. The band relied on the use of both soprano vocals and death grunts. In February 2009, it was announced that After Forever had disbanded. Singer Floor Jansen and keyboardist Joost van den Broek both collaborated again in bands ReVamp's and in Star One. In 2013, Jansen also joined symphonic metal band Nightwish.

The Last Dance is the second compilation album from pop group Steps, and was released eleven months after the group had disbanded. It contains a selection of B-sides and remixes of previous singles and received extremely limited promotion prior to its release. The album reached in the UK, and is Steps's lowest-charting album release to date. 5,6,7,8 (Upton/Crosby) – 5:26.

Forever Now is the third studio album by English rock band the Psychedelic Furs. The 10-song album, including the hit single "Love My Way", was recorded in the spring of 1982 and released on 25 September of that year by Columbia/CBS. A 20th-anniversary reissue included six related bonus tracks.

After Forever is the eponymous fifth and final studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band After Forever. It was released in the United States on September 28, 2007. The album reached No. 6 on the Dutch album charts.

The Last Dance Lyrics. You really met me at the worst time Cause this life of mine Won't let me let you in Baby, I don't wanna see it all End in a heartache This was nothing Like the first time Cause this heart of mine Won't let me let you win Baby, I would rather end it right now Than the long.
