Lilo and Stitch Part - 1 soundtrack - song-"Suspicious Minds" by Elvis Presley.

This set features all of the master recordings made by Presley that would eventually feature on multiple singles as well as the albums From Elvis in Memphis and the studio disk of From Memphis to Vegas/From Vegas to Memphis. Original recordings produced by Chips Moman and Felton Jarvis.

Jocelyn Brown’s number one fan here, so why aren’t I blown away by her vocals or the production on this housed up remake of the Elvis/Candi Staton standard? Once ‘Suspicious Minds’, now just plain ‘Suspicious’, and with a less-than ferociously commanding vocal performance from everyone’s favourite work-for-hire singer too.

Stitch has hooked up with dance diva extraordinaire, Jocelyn Brown, to produce what’s set to be one of Miami’s hottest tunes of 2002. If you’re looking for funk on a slate then look no further. Stitch is fresh out of Hawaii, where if he’s not messing around with records, he’s surfing or partying hard. It won’t be long before ‘Suspicious’ explodes onto the scene in Europe. The first slates have gone out already. As yet unsigned, this record is still only a white label but the bidding war is just beginning to start fuelled by the fact that DJ demi-gods like CJ Mackintosh and Tim Deluxe are thrashing it in clubs up and down the country.

Once ‘Suspicious Minds’, now just plain ‘Suspicious’, and with a less-than ferociously commanding vocal performance from everyone’s favourite work-for-hire singer too. There is however a certain anthemic appeal to it all, with Stitch enhancing the deeply soulful nature of the song’s groove with a gospel-vibe, and instead of the disco rifferama there’s a sparse, but inspired, Hammond thing going on.
