The album was met with a wave of excitement, and became the second-biggest album release of 1995 (behind The Beatles' Anthology 1, which also, incidentally, featured a "new" recording from The Beatles, using an old demo tape of John Lennon's "Free As A Bird"). But fear not! Mercury-arguably rock's campiest performer-would never let anything (even death) turn things dreary.
