Mister Mellow, then, is a kind of concept album about The Way We Live. In fact, Mister Mellow might be viewed as a hero of superhuman chill who has come to save us all from the mid-afternoon blahs at work. Given the modest demands of sensory immersion and time (about a half hour), the optimal viewing experience is eating a salad in front of your computer during lunch, or in five or 10 minute increments when someone can’t snoop at your cubicle. This doesn’t make Mister Mellow all that different than other Washed Out releases
Mister X are a Belarusian street punk band formed in Grodno, West Belarus, in 2003 by Igor Bantser and Boris of Oi! Bombers. They openly identify as SHARP and belong to the small, but healthy and growing anti-racist skinhead scene in Belarus.

Stones Throw capture in their tide a new album of psychedelic dub x hip-hop from Washed Out with Mister Mellow. Continuing his transition towards a less "band-driven sound" as first explored on his records for Mexican Summer and Weird World, Mister Mellow expels a lush, sun-drenched sound across a multimedia album experience that carries an existential undercurrent.
Washed Out announces full-length album Mister Mellow on Stones Throw Records, for June 30th release. The 12-track album is accompanied by a visual album on DVD. Details and tour dates below. This is the world of Washed Out’s (Ernest Greene) new album Mister Mellow. A fully immersive multimedia experience, the album guides the listener through the highs and lows of this often ridiculous struggle. In classic Millennial fashion, most young adults’ perception of their own lives are overblown and over-dramatized to the point of absurdity – as are the many ways they distract themselves from the insecurities faced on a daily basis (see social media, fantasy, drugs, music).
