Drama is the tenth studio album by the English rock band Yes, released on 18 August 1980 by Atlantic Records. It is their only album to feature Trevor Horn as lead vocalist, and the first with keyboardist Geoff Downes, following the departures of Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman in March 1980 after unsuccessful recording sessions for a new album in Paris and London; Horn and Downes also formed the new wave duo The Buggles together, and had recently released the international hit "Video. Killed the Radio Star"

Drama is the tenth studio album by British rock band Yes. It is the first Yes album without vocalist Jon Anderson. In early 1980, after rehearsing music for the follow-up to the tepidly-received Tormato, both Anderson and keyboardist Rick Wakeman departed the band over creative and financial differences. It was the only album without Anderson and with keyboardist Geoff Downes before Fly From Here in 2011, and is the only Yes album with Trevor Horn as lead vocalist; however he was later involved as producer in 90125 and Fly From Here.

Shying away from their main stream hits for this tour, as a gift to their fans base, they began their set by playing all six songs of the Drama album. Nearly every song yielded a standing ovation from the crowd and some people stood up alone when the feeling moved them to do so. The Drama album was followed up by You and I from their 1972 Close To The Edge album and Perpetual Change from their 1971 The Yes Album. The first set was inspiring and immaculately performed.

It rocks harder than other Yes albums, and for classically inclined fans, it was a jarring departure; but it was a harbinger of Yes and Asia albums to come. A newly emboldened Chris Squire lays down aggressive rhythms with Alan White, and Steve Howe eschews his usual acoustic rags and flamenco licks for a more metallic approach, opting for sheets of electric sound. Prime cuts include the doom-laden "Machine Messiah" and the manic ska inflections of "Tempus Fugit.
