Mellonova - Slightly Happy. THROWBACK THURSDAY: Today, 13 years ago, marks Aporia's double-album Canadian release anniversary of Rebelski's "Stickers on Keys" (APCD-022) and "Thanks for Your Thoughts" (APCD-021).

Although originally based in Toronto, Mellonova traveled extensively, first relocating to British Columbia and then moving overseas to Britain. There, they released their self-titled debut EP, which drew much praise and acclaim for its blending of pop, space rock, and vibrant instrumentation. The group appeared on various television shows, and their music has also been heard on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In 2001, Mellonova returned to the studio to record their first full-length effort.
