In darkness Where my dreams are all too clear Darkness, darkness Filled with all the sounds of fear I hear voices (don't turn out the light) Calling faraway I see shadows (don't turn out the light) Moving, changing shape. And the clock stops As darkness closes in I hesitate but it's too late I scream and scream again. I hear colours black and red I see sounds that fill my head I'll never read those books again

Hysteria is the fourth studio album by British synthpop band The Human League, released on 7 May 1984. Following the worldwide success of their 1981 album Dare, the band struggled to make a successful follow-up and the sessions for Hysteria were fraught with problems. The album name itself is taken from the problematic recording period. Producers Martin Rushent and Chris Thomas both left the project which would eventually be finished by producer Hugh Padgham.

Credo is the ninth studio album by The Human League, released in 2011. It was their first studio album since Secrets in 2001. It was produced by fellow Sheffield act I Monster and released on Wall of Sound. The first single from the album, "Night People" was released on 22 November 2010. Follow up single "Never Let Me Go" was released on 1 March 2011

There are a few cassette-shell variants of this release, for the completist: one with the overall duration of each side printed after the album title, one that omits the times, slightly reformats the other text, and also inserts a space between "TCV" and "2192" on the shell printing (less common) and even one with the first printing layout printed on paper labels. which appears to be the rarest)

THE HUMAN LEAGUE, legendary and groundbreaking Synth Pop pioneers of the 1980s, made their live reunion a couple of years ago and proved that their are still a force to be reckoned with. In winter 2007 they returned to the road with a pretty unusual concept: the ‘Dare!’ tour, named after THE HUMAN LEAGUE’s most critically acclaimed and most successful album from 1981! As unorthodox it is to focus a tour a 26 year old album, the fans truly looked forward to this special event.

The album features singles and album tracks, spanning the years from their debut album release, 1979's Reproduction, to their most recent album, 2001's Secrets. Also included are three enhanced live video tracks. A DVD also called Live at the Dome was released concurrently with the album, the DVD contains the full concert and bonus footage. The cover artwork for both the album and DVD was by Stig Olsen. Medley Hard Times, Love Action (I Believe in Love)" - 8:21.

This album is excellent and the versions here should have been on Reproduction. After seeing them at several early gigs in 78 /79 it's pretty much what was expected as this was their sound. The first version of Blind Youth on Side A was always the best as this was the live version played with extra synth over it from the Jupiter 4. If you can get a copy it's highly recommended (pretty good sound quality for cassette recordings) as this is what caused the initial buzz and attracted Bowie to one of their early gigs...The cover always reminds me of a certain gig at Rotters in Doncaster in late 1980 when the "new version" definitely buried the "dignity" of the early Human League that night - I was gutted to say the least...
My vinyl LP copy of this record comes with different listed tracklist. side A: A1 Blind Youth A2 Year Of The Jet Packs A3 Again The Eye Again A4 Toyota CityA5 Dance VisionSide B:B1 No Time B2 You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling B3 Being BoiledB4 Blind Youth (Progression)it seems the picture listed has also this tracklist, the sleeve is exactly as mine copy. Anybody knows if are two different pressings or is only a mistake in Discogs upload ?
The Sphinx of Driz
same with my copy, but I have "Dance Vision" on B1. I was happy that "Being Boiled" is included when I received my copy, as the Discogs tracklist says it isn't. I don't think there are different versions guess it's a mistake here as the cover shows the same tracklist.
