Alberto y Lost Trios Paranoias (also called the 'Albertos' by themselves and their fans) were a comedy rock band, formed in Manchester, England in 1972. Their story is told in the book When We Were Thin (published 2007 by Hotun Press). The name of the band is a corruption of the Latin American band Alberto y Los Trios Paraguayos. Created in 1972 by former member of Greasy Bear – Chris ".

Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias was a middling seller but a very promising opening salvo, with custodians of public taste WH Smiths notoriously banning the record because of its incredibly scatological material. Italians From Outer Space was a patchy follow-up, with a lot of annoyingly intrusive comedy sketches that were shamelessly imitative of Monty Python, but it did contain their first punk send-up, 'Teenager In Schtuck', which was clearly the idea that spawned Sleak.

The comedy rock band, Alberto y Lost Trios Paranoias, from the 1970s took their name from a corrupted version of this band's name. Blackhill Enterprises. Blackhill Enterprises was a rock music management company, founded as a partnership by the four original members of Pink Floyd (Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Roger Waters and Richard Wright), with Peter Jenner and Andrew King. Blackhill were the organisers of the first Hyde Park free concerts. This was the only single released on Absurd. The band later signed Do It! to release in 1981 their first album Pay Attention! and their next single Show Me Your House And Car. However, the band waited the entire 1980 working in separated ways. Dave Rowbotham was recording material with Pauline Murray And The Invisible Girls, Chris Joyce joined Pink Military, with whom began to work, and Tony Bowers was producing for the latter band.
