Robbie Williams ‎– Escapology. Label: Chrysalis ‎– 942 8. Format: CD, Album. Country: UK & Europe. Track 14 contains two 'hidden' tracks, the titled track finishes at 3:52 followed by a 6 second silence then the 1st untitled track is a reprise of track 1 and lasts for 2:12 before a period of 5:56 silence, then the second track informally titled "I Tried Love" plays.

Escapology is a 2002 album by Robbie Williams, his fifth solo effort, and his last with producer and co-songwriter Guy Chambers. The most successful singles released from the album were "Feel" and "Something Beautiful". Escapology was arguably conceived as a concept album due to its lyrics being totally reflective about Williams' life as a popstar in Los Angeles, particularly his hopes ("Hot Fudge") and fears ("Monsoon").

Released November 18, 2002. Escapology Tracklist. 1. How Peculiar Lyrics. Robbie’s fifth album, released November 18th, 2002. Although it didn’t end up successful in the US, the album did incredibly well in the rest of the world, selling over . million records, and releasing one of Robbie’s most well-known songs, Feel.

Album · 2002 · 14 Songs. Escapology Robbie Williams. Robbie Williams & Maxi Jazz).

Upon listening to Robbie's 2002 CD Escapology, though, I couldn't shake the feeling that even though it's pop, it's much more elaborate (or if you will, less half-assed) than most of the music that accompanies it on the radio. Robbie is just mellow. His music is free of any cares and woes, and it works the same on the listener. Just sit back in your armchair, play the track Something Beautiful and tell me you still give a crap. I dare you. What merits a mention is the instrumentation on this album (which probably reflects Robbie's achievements in general).

Performer: Robbie Williams Album: Escapology Label: Chrysalis. Escapology is the fifth studio album by English singer-songwriter Robbie Williams. Tracklist: - 01. Robbie Williams - How Peculiar 02.

02 Record label: emi int'l Genre(s): Pop. 80 Music-Critic Score How the Music Critic Score works. Escape To Another Level by: peter naldrett. A true performer and one of the few men of real talent to emerge from the Boy Band era, Robbie Williams is back with another stunning album. As for influences, Williams seems to have brought dozens to this album and as a result this is a CD heaped high with diverse styles. The intro on the opener, "How Peculiar," seems to come straight from Blur’s "13," while the hi-energy of "Song 3" more than alludes to Albarn’s "Song 2". "Something Beautiful" at times sounds like a song from the Beautiful South catalogue and there’s a line from "Monsoon" that is so Oasis.

The discography of Robbie Williams, an English singer-songwriter, consists of eleven studio albums, one live album, eight compilation albums, one extended play, ten video albums, fifty-nine singles (including six as a featured artist), six promotional singles and fifty-six music videos (including two as a featured artist).

Temporarily out of stock. But there's no doubt that the tone of the album is less mercurial and irreverent than the Williams of old. That's not a bad thing-the anti-celebrity sentiments expressed in "Monsoon" are commendable for their frankness. When Williams sings, "I'm here to make money and get laid/ Yeah, I'm a star but I'll fade," you get the sense he's been doing more in . than chasing tail around the Standard Hotel.
