Quickness is the fourth full-length studio album by hardcore punk pioneers Bad Brains. At the time of its release, it was the best selling Bad Brains album and also featured an MTV video for the lead-off track "Soul Craft" directed by Paul Rachman who later went on to produce and direct the feature documentary American Hardcore. Drummer Earl Hudson, though pictured on the cover, does not play on the record, as drum parts were instead performed by Mackie Jayson of the Cro-Mags

Bad Brains (also known as The Yellow Tape or Attitude: The ROIR Sessions) is the debut studio album recorded by American hardcore punk/reggae band Bad Brains. LP (12" album, 33 rpm). Bad Brains Format: Vinyl.

Quickness - probably the first Bad Brains album heard by many less-plugged-in youth of the '80s and '90s (such as myself) - was recorded in the middle of a bumpy season (with . off again and on again on vocals during the actual production of the album), but the final product seems to have made it through unscathed, at least. in the eyes of the KCMU crew. The Brains is back! Great, intense LP. Like Fugazi, one of the few hardcore-related bands that've still got i.
