Johnny McCook - GONE 5143 from 1962. After Ral left the label George Golder looked for a replacement in Johnny McCook. As far as I know Johnny only had one single issued on Gone and that was the end of his recording career. Nothing is known about him. This song slowly builds and is done in Ral Donner style - especially the ending! (B/W "By And By").

Orchid is the debut studio album by Swedish progressive metal band Opeth, released on May 15, 1995 in Europe by Candlelight Records, and on June 24, 1997 in the United States by Century Black. It was reissued in 2000 with one bonus track called "Into the Frost of Winter", an early unproduced rehearsal recording by the band. The recording sessions occurred at the old Unisound studio, in Finspång with production by Opeth alongside Dan Swanö.

Tommy McCook - When Something Is Wrong 11. Tommy McCook - Scatterlight Rock One of the rarest, and greatest, horn instrumental dub albums of the seventies featuring the soaring saxophone of Tommy McCook in combination with Glen Brown, ‘The Rhythm Master’, is finally given a legitimate release. Three years later the set was released through Grounation in London, once again on a white label and without a cover, where it was known as ‘Horny Dub’. It gave music lovers a fascinating opportunity to compare and contrast the work of Tommy McCook, one of the architects and builders of the Jamaican sound, with Glen Brown’s role in taking and breaking it into piece. Dub Store Records is the Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae and Dancehall reissue label run by the eponymous Tokyo based record store.

Wild Orchid is the self-titled debut album by American group Wild Orchid, released on March 23, 1997 (see 1997 in music). It is their most successful album. After signing a recording contract with RCA Records, the trio wrote and recorded songs throughout 1995 with the help of Renee's songwriter brother Bobby Sandstrom. The album took approximately nine months to complete.

The sophomore release from Finland's French Films, 2013's self-produced White Orchid offers more of their punky rhythm section, the Jesus and Mary Chain-like wall of guitars, and reverbed vocals by primary songwriter Johannes Leppänen. While the lyrics remain largely a mystery, the album straddles rock and pop with noisy, catchy, melodic choruses. Songs like the driving first single, "Latter Days," the feel-good "Special Shades," and the "ooh, ooh, wee, ooh, ooh" Beach Boys-esque backing vocals of "Juveniles" deliver sweet garage indie pop.
