There are various reasons why the Paul Simon's 1998 Broadway production "The Capeman" failed, and one was that people felt Simon glorified the murderer Salvador Agron. Surprise is the eleventh solo studio album by American musician Paul Simon, released in May 2006. It peaked at on the Billboard 200. After the relative success of You're the One, which was released in late 2000 finding Simon back to the Top 20 of the American charts after ten years of absence and also receiving a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year, Paul Simon spent most of the following two years promoting the album.
