Changes is the second and final studio album by the American folk band the Modern Folk Quartet. It was released in 1964 on the Warner Bros. Records label (see 1964 in music). The album expands upon the trend set from the group's debut: including interpretations of both traditional and contemporary folk standards, with an increased emphasis on the latter.

Cassette + Digital Album. This is an album that will delight those who are adventurous enough to seek something that doesn’t sound like anything else on their playlist or record collection but presents an authentic slice of modern American folk music, not the folk of 1945 or 1965, but folk music forged in the fires of the 21st century, where hip-hop, American primitive, psych, and traditional folk are all part of the same sonic-mosaic of modern life". Additionally, modern folk-lovers and the more experimental crowd as a whole will adore the album song after song. Because variety is the spice of life, having both variety and a difference of options is perfect when collecting vinyl records. Released in 2011, this is yet another modern folk album that deems itself both desirable and a must-have in any folk collection. Other than being able to acquire it in a glistening white, rather than the typical black color, an album from the sextet, Fleet Foxes, is a necessary gem for any folk audiophile. Their music is layered, fantastically with detailed, sophisticated, and introspective lyrics that are relatable, enchanting, and vivid.

About Modern Folk Embroidery. A few years ago I wanted to make a little embroidery piece, but quickly found that none of the patterns out there reflected what I was looking for. As I didn’t want to simply copy an old design, I decided that I’d have to take the jump and try my hand at designing my own patterns. I created a few pieces, and people liked them. I set up an Etsy shop as it seemed the perfect place for my work. I picked the name Modern Folk as my patterns are made for modern people, but they are also my personal take on folkloristic patterns
