It was then that Theme Park first opened for business, the laid-back cool of ‘Wax’ marking them out as something a little more luxe than your average guitar outfit. Six years on from their debut and not much has changed, which is, unfortunately, the downfall of ‘Is This How It Starts?’. A distinctly mixed bag of a record, ‘Is This How It Starts?’ provides plenty to enjoy but relatively little to take to your heart. Until Theme Park really figure out who they want to be, they’re at risk of trying just that little bit too hard. With contemporaries Bombay Bicycle Club and Friendly Fires on hiatus and synth-pop reigning king, their unfocused approach feels just that little bit too late to the party. Give all this a try. Listen.

Theme Park are an indie rock band from London, England, consisting of twin brothers Miles and Marcus Haughton, as well as their friends Oscar Manthorpe. The theme park is currently the largest Disney theme park in the world at 580 acres (235 hectares). The theme park is homage to Africa with its large lush jungle area and savanna that is home to some 1,700 animals from 250 species. The park’s purpose was to inculcate a sense of nature appreciation and animal conservation. The theme park attracts around 9,783,000 visitors annually.

A theme park is a place with attractions made up of rides, such as roller coasters and water rides. They usually contain a selection of different types of rides, along with shops, restaurants and other entertainment outlets. Theme parks can be enjoyed by adults, teenagers and children. Many are themed to a particular area; there are water parks, parks modeled after toys, parks modeled after movies or types of movies, usually adventure or action.

Theme Park Tourist's guide to the 50 most popular theme parks in the world. The park is huge, covering some 500 acres, although its attractions are concentrated in a few themed areas on different sides of the estate's famous gardens and woodland. As well as seven major roller coasters, the park includes several dark rides, an assortment of flat rides and an increasing number of attractions aimed at younger guests. Although the park performed well in 2014, a serious crash on The Smiler roller coaster which led to life-changing injuries for several riders caused attendance to plummet in 2015, so don't expect Alton Towers to appear in next year's list

Long-time Theme Park Insider readers will know that I am talking about Harrison "Buzz" Price, the Disney Legend who passed away in 2010. Buzz Price never worked as a cast member for Disney. Walt hired him on the side to help choose the location for Disneyland, then employed him again to find the best place to site what became the Walt Disney World Resort. But Buzz Price did much more for the theme park industry than pick the locations of America's two most popular theme park resorts.
